Creating Your Account and Completing Onboarding

Navigate to the sign-up page
Enter your email address and create a secure password
Verify your email address (check your inbox for the confirmation link)
Click the confirmation link to activate your account

Complete Onboarding

After signing in, you'll be prompted to complete onboarding
Select "Booster" as your role: This is important! It sets up your account correctly
Fill out your profile information: your preferred name/username, any additional profile information
Review and confirm your selections

Tip: Make sure you select "Booster" during onboarding. If you selected the wrong role, you can usually change it in your account settings.

Adding Your Characters

Why Add Characters?

Adding your characters allows the platform to: match you with appropriate clients based on your character's rating and experience, show clients your character's stats and achievements, and help you manage multiple characters for boosting.

How to Add a Character

Navigate to your Profile or Characters section (usually in your account dashboard)
Click "Add Character" or "New Character"
You'll need to provide your Raider.IO URL for the character

Getting Your Raider.IO URL

Go to Raider.IO
Search for your character
Click on your character's profile
Copy the URL from your browser's address bar
Paste it into the character form on Slash2

Example Raider.IO URL format: https://raider.io/characters/us/realm/charactername

What Happens When You Add a Character?

The platform automatically: pulls your character's Mythic+ rating, retrieves your character's achievements, gets your character's item level and stats, and updates this information periodically.

This helps match you with clients who need your level of expertise.

Setting Characters as Active

What Does "Active" Mean?

When a character is set to "Active", it means you're available to boost on that character and the character will be considered for matching. When a character is "Inactive", it means you're not currently available on that character and the character won't be matched.

How to Set Characters Active

Navigate to your Characters section
Find the character you want to activate
Toggle the "Active" switch or button
The character is now in the booster queue

Important: Only active characters are considered for matching. Make sure to set your characters as active when you're available to boost!

Joining the Queue

How the Queue Works

Once your characters are active, you're automatically in the booster queue. The system uses weighted random selection to match boosters with clients.

Understanding Weighted Random Selection

  • All active boosters have a chance to be selected
  • Subscription tiers provide better weighting:
    • Free tier: Base weighting
    • Tier 1: Enhanced weighting (better chances)
    • Tier 2: Even better weighting
  • Character rating and experience also factor in
  • Active status: Only active boosters are considered

Important: Subscriptions improve your chances but don't guarantee selection. The system ensures fairness while giving active boosters opportunities.

Getting Matched with Clients

When You Get Matched

When a client request matches your availability:

  • You'll receive a notification (in-app, email, or both)
  • The notification will show the client's request details
  • You can review the request before accepting

Reviewing the Match

The match notification will typically show: Key Level (what Mythic+ key level the client needs), Dungeon (which dungeon they want to complete), Preferred Time (when the client is available), Client Details (basic information about the client), and Special Notes (any specific requirements or preferences).

Accepting or Declining

Accept: If you're available and can complete the run
Decline: If you're busy, unavailable, or the request doesn't fit

Tip: Be mindful of your availability when accepting matches. It's better to decline if you're not sure you can make it, rather than accepting and having to cancel later.

Completing the Boost

Meeting In-Game

Log into the character you were matched with
Meet the client at the agreed time and location
Confirm you're both ready
