Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using Slash2

Acceptance of Terms

By using Slash2, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Slash2 Is

Slash2 is an external website and marketplace. We connect World of Warcraft players who want boosting services (clients) with players who provide those services (boosters) and with guilds that organize raid content. Slash2 operates entirely outside of the World of Warcraft game client. We do not run inside the game. We coordinate players; gameplay is performed by players. Participation is voluntary and opt-in.

What Slash2 Is Not

  • Slash2 does not operate inside the World of Warcraft game client. There is no in-game advertising, no in-game escrow, and no bots or automation in WoW.
  • Slash2 does not hold gold or provide escrow. Gold trades happen manually between players after gameplay.
  • There are no real-money trades inside WoW. No account sharing is required to use Slash2.
  • Discord is used for support and community only, not for operations or matchmaking.

How Boosts Work

Clients request boosts on the Slash2 website. Requests are matched using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) queue—no matchmaking priority for payment. Boosters are selected according to the platform’s published rules. When a run is completed, the client pays the booster(s) directly with in-game gold. Boosters keep 100% of the gold; Slash2 takes no cut.

Payments and Gold

In-Game Boosting (Gold Only)

All payments for boosting (Mythic+, raids, etc.) are made directly between clients and boosters or guilds using in-game gold only. Slash2 does not process these payments, hold funds, or take any fee from in-game transactions. We do not provide in-game escrow or automation.

Disputes about in-game gold are between the client and the booster or guild. Slash2 is not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or issues related to in-game gold transactions.

Platform Subscriptions (Real Money)

Slash2 offers optional subscriptions purchased with real money:

  • Client subscriptions: Optional support-tier (e.g. ad-free experience) that does not affect queue order.
  • Booster subscriptions: Optional tiers that can affect selection weighting in matchmaking; gold payout remains 100% to boosters.
  • Guild subscriptions: Optional tiers that unlock features such as multi-day scheduling and recurring listings.

Subscriptions are processed through our payment provider and are subject to standard subscription terms (billing, cancel, refunds) as described at purchase.

Subscriptions do not change how in-game gold works. All boosting payments stay gold-only between clients and boosters/guilds.

User Responsibilities

Clients: You are responsible for accurate request details, paying boosters or guilds with in-game gold as agreed, and reporting issues promptly.

Boosters: You are responsible for accurate character information, keeping characters active in the queue as required, and delivering services as agreed with clients.

Guild admins: You are responsible for accurate guild and raid information and for your guild’s compliance with platform rules.

All users are responsible for following Blizzard Entertainment’s Terms of Service and any other applicable game rules.

Blizzard Policy Compliance

You must comply with Blizzard Entertainment’s Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. You may not use in-game chat or in-game UI to advertise, solicit, or operate boosting or other services in a way that violates Blizzard’s rules. Slash2 is designed so that coordination happens on our website; in-game activity is limited to normal gameplay and gold transfer between players as allowed by Blizzard. You are responsible for your own compliance.

Prohibited Behavior

You agree not to:

  • Use Slash2 for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate Blizzard Entertainment’s Terms of Service
  • Advertise, solicit, or operate services inside in-game chat or in-game UI in a way that breaks game rules
  • Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Manipulate the queue or matchmaking system
  • Share account credentials or let others use your account

Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. Slash2 is not responsible for unauthorized access. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Liability and Disclaimers

Slash2 provides the platform “as is.” We do not guarantee the quality of services provided by boosters or guilds. We are not responsible for disputes between users or losses from using the platform. Users interact at their own risk.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in prohibited behavior, or fail to comply with Blizzard’s Terms of Service. Termination is at our discretion. Terminated accounts may not be reinstated.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Slash2 after changes means you accept the updated terms.
